I had to leave Rovaniemi yesterday as a prayer request was received and required me to move on.
I spent a few hours in Sodankyla and this afternoon called at a gold mining village.
I am now a few miles from Ivalo and will get there tomorrow morning.
I keep on looking at the Vistor Atrium but no new people are logging on.
Monday 27th of June 2011 07:22:01 PM
I am now in Rovaniemi and preparing to head north tomorrow. Before I go onwards I need to have the front tyres replaced as these seem to be losing their grip on some of the more treacherous roads.
I have been told by my friend John Ellis that the church he attends in Sneyd Park in Bristol have designated a day of prayer for this work next thursday. I would like to thank the rector David for making such a wonderful committment that really means everything to me. How I wish more churches would pray for an evangelist they know in this way.
I would hope to be at the end of the Russian Norwegian Border in Grens Jacobselv on that day.

I have spent the last couple of days driving to the Arctic Circle.
Yesterday I visited a local zoo to see the true animals of the Arctic forest and was appalled at the conditions they live in. It reminded me of the zoo I was taken to as a young child. Cramped cages, Smelly bored animals. The animals were caged outside but I felt a sense of emptiness as I looked at the bears and the Lynx. Even the reindeer seemed very bored.
My frien Anna Marie sent me a text about a couple of meetings so I went to one i Posio last night and had a good time with people who pray for me.
I have two meetings today, just over the border in Sweden and then back to the border beyond tha Arctic Circle.

The service at the Free Church in Kuhmo last night was a true gift from God.
How I wish it had been recorded and that I could listen to the words the Holy Spirit uttered through me. I am often amazed at the way God uses each one of us to fulfill his divine plan.
I was making soup until nearly 3 am for the outreaches today and every drop has been used.
A couple of hours in the market place followed by a soup and hot dog outreach at the block houses.
Around a hundred litres of soup was given away and over 200 glasses of orange and blackcurrant juice were consumed. The work is very tiring but totally fulfilling.
I leave Kuhmo for a few days tomorrow morning and head to the far north of Europe. I apologise in advance because I know that for a few days I will not have a signal for the computer. If anything goes wrong I will find a way of leaving a message on the Visitors Atrium.
Why don't YOU leave a message for me.

I must put the concerns of Eric and Bengt to rest.
Today I never left the van and spent most of the day reading and sleeping and finished the day with a meal of Chips and meat which I cooked myself. I am finding myself getting tired more easily this year and intend to pace myself sensibly whenever possible.
I have a meeting tomorrow evening and outreach on thursday then I head slowly along the Border of Finland and Russia and then the journey to the Northernmost tip of Europe at the North Cape.

Yesterday I went with Timo to conduct a bible study at the Block Houses. We studied Mathew 5 and such a lot was gained from the time.
On the way home Timo went to visit a couple who he has never visited before and I was invited to join them. It turned out that the man and his wife hold the position of District Governor for the International Organisation " Lions Club International"
We have been invited to return in July and join them and an international gathering in July where I hope to be able to sing and maybe speak to the gathering.
Today should be a day off!!!!!!!!
Tuesday 21st of June 2011 08:39:50 AM
Another good day here in Kuhmo.
This evening I was able to sing and preach in the main church and had a wonderful time. Many came forward for prayer at the end.
The music group were terrific and I was really delighted to see two young men from the alcoholic unit in the group. I remember praying for them last year and now they are clean and following Jesus.

This morning was an early start as I had to set up the tables and chairs for a street market open air.
All went well until the rain started and people began to look for shelter.
I unrolled the awning and suddenly we had a totally captive audience.
The meeting lasted for nearly three hours and the people with me found many opportunities to speak to visitors.
The rain had been very heavy today but it has been a good day.
I was showing Timo how to get rid of the vast accumalation of water from the the awning and did it the wrong way. It was not really funny, but everyone laughed as I got caught and soaked from head to toe as the water poured all over me.
Saturday 18th of June 2011 10:43:05 PM
A great day surrounded by friends!!!!!
This afternoon a group of us went to Kajaani for a street outreach. The tables were used for the first time and the awning unfurled. Soup, biscuits, crisps, sweets, coffee and orange juice all led to a wonderful time.
The feelings about the new vehicle are very mixed by everyone but all must realise that what I drive now is exactly what the Lord led me to so I am satisfied.

The sail to Denmark was good but I was still plagued with a diesel leak near the engine.
I drove across Sweden to Sandviken and spoke on friday evening in the main Lutheran church. It was good to find I had so many friends in the area.
On saturday I went to visit a mechanic at Hammerby and he soon sorted out my fuel problem for me. He told me that a prayer meeting was being held at the local church and I decided to visit.
The meeting was finished but one man was still praying quietly when I walked in.
It was my friend Seppo from the local Alcoholic Rehabilitation Centre who was amazed to see me there.
He was leading a conference for two days and had just been told that the main speaker was not coming for some reason. I walked in as he was praying for direction. God answered before he asked and we had a great time as the Spirit told me how to speak and what to say.
On monday I sailed for Turku in Finland and took two days to drive along the bottom of the country and then followed the Russian border to Kuhmo.
Once again a divine appointment as Timo the priest was waiting for me to speak at a youth camp this afternoon. The diary is now full for the next two weeks. Please keep on praying.
Thursday 16th of June 2011 07:11:45 PM
Still waiting for the ferry but it should sail this evening.
I wonder just what the Lord has in store for me on this trip? So much has gone wrong recentlt that I anticipate a journey full of blessings. The financial side is desperate but I have been down this route before. I pray that great things will happen and the cash lasts out until I get to Finland.
I hope to arrive in the Sandviken area by wednesday or thursday after a long drive across five countries.
Please, Please Pray.
Monday 06th of June 2011 02:24:10 PM
I am still waiting to sail from Harwich.
It was impossible to change my ticket due to a full boat. The ferry company dfds would not refund my money so I could not change my route to Sweden.
I feel the Lord has a plan somewhere along the trip from here to Denmark.

Nothing could be done to eliminate the constant bouncing of the van as I travel.
The drive from Weston towards London was exhausting as I was caught up in a forty mile traffic jam. This was caused by a multiple crash just outside Bath. I counted four Articulated lorries and three cars that had been completely written off.
It was good to meet up with Eric, but it was only for a few minutes due to my arm and neck giving me a lot of pain.
I am now at the port in Harwich and hoping to sail tomorrow if I can change my ticket.
Friday 03rd of June 2011 05:06:55 PM
The Lord reigns!
It has been a good day today in Weston super Mare as I have attempted to clean up the van.
The cooker did not work properly and had a very bad gas leak. I have now replaced it with the cooker from the bus and all seems to be ok.
Tomorrow the van goes to the mechanic's to try and sort out the very serious bouncing problems.
Please pray that I have enough money, I also have to pay £2,000 insurance tomorrow.
Monday 30th of May 2011 11:25:21 PM
A good time here in Bristol over the last two days.
Many thanks to Commander John Ellis for arranging the meetings for me and opening up his home for me to meet people.
It was great to complete my time here by speaking to the youth from the community around Saint Mary's church.
Heading for Weston tomorrow.
Friday 27th of May 2011 11:36:33 PM
I am now in England after a great time of blessings in Ireland.
Yesterday I went to see the specialist and was discharged from hospital with a clean bill of health. I will have to continue taking the tablets but an operation is not required.
I have spent the morning in Bristol and spoke at a house group this morning. I also have a house group this evening with John Ellis and a full day tomorrow.
The summer work has now begun and I leave for Scandinavia next week.
Thursday 26th of May 2011 03:51:27 PM
I was directed by the Lord to have a full wrap put on the van.
I thought it was impossible as people with the skill are few and far between.
This week I found the right people and the wrap is almost complete. It is said that a picture speaks a thousand words.
The pictures have only been on the van for a day but have allready causing many favourable comments.
I leave Northern Ireland on Monday evening for an appointment with the specialist on wednesday in Lancashire.
I will park up in Carrickfergus on monday afternoon from 3pm till 6 pm.
Saturday 21st of May 2011 09:45:30 AM
After a terrific week in the Monaghan area I am back in Northern Ireland.
I was able to give my testimony nearly every evening and each time it was well received. It was good to see an entry from Leah in the Armagh area on the Visitors Atrium.
The children over here are really good and sit and listen to my extremely long sermons. " I think the lollipops have a lot to do with it."
Many thanks to Ivan Armstrong of Castlblaney for his hard work installing the diesel tank and to Elizabeth and Stanley for filling up both tanks.
Tuesday 17th of May 2011 10:21:59 PM
I'm currently in southern Ireland where I'm being kept very busy. I'm unable to get a signal so this will be my last message for a short while. Hopefully update you again soon. God bless!
Thursday 12th of May 2011 02:54:12 PM
Praying the rain and wind will cease before tomorrow.
I will be at the top of the highest pass in Northern Ireland giving away hotdogs and soup.
As I write this short message I am also watching a couple of gallons of minestrone soup simmering on the stove.
Please pray that helpers will turn up and many tracts will be given away on the Glenshane Pass.
Friday 06th of May 2011 10:42:35 PM
It was good to meet up with my friends in Enniskillen. I moved on from there to Carrickfergus and it was great.
I met people who I have not seen for a long time and the ministry section was packed out with people.
I have now got most of the food and sweet supplies I will need for Scandinavia.
I am now heading for the Maghera area.
Thursday 05th of May 2011 09:58:41 PM
Back in Northern Ireland after a terrific time in Scotland.
Yesterday I joined friends in Knockloughram area for morning service then moved on toLimavady for the evening service at the Baptst Church.
I am now on the edge of Omagh and will move on to Enniskillen tomorrow.
Allready I am entertaining visitors in the ministry area.
Monday 02nd of May 2011 07:26:23 PM
Still in Levens.
This morning I was able to watch the Royal Wedding on tv. It was followed by the first barbeque from the motorhome and it was a great success with around six adults andseven children joined me. I firmly believe it will be a great asset during the summer.
I leave here tomorrow for the ferry to Ireland.
Friday 29th of April 2011 04:19:54 PM
Last night was fantastic and a very well attended meeting. At the conclusion I was able to pray for quite a few people and heard good reports.
Today I unwound the awning for the first time and set up the tables and chairs in preperation for a barbeque tomorrow.
Thanks for your prayers, they were really answered.
Thursday 28th of April 2011 09:24:44 PM
I am now parked outside Blacketyside Farm Shop in Levens, Fife.
This evening I am privelidged to be the first ever speaker here this evening. Please pray that the Lord shall be Glorified as the meeting progresses. It is extremely important that as many people as possible pray for this event to encourage Robert Dodds and his family as they step out in faith.
Wednesday 27th of April 2011 04:10:00 PM
Since I began taking tablets for prostrate problems I have suffered from constant tiredness and have not had the energy to do any manual labour around the bus.
Today has seen an answer to prayer and I have managed to complete the signwriting on the van and I am very pleased with it.
I have taken some pictures and will email them to The Web Master to upload when he returns from his family holiday.
I was able to do it myself with the last computer but unfortunately I cannot access any of my old programmes on this computer. This is also the reason I have not sent out any newsletters. I do not have a programme to write any documents.
I am now parked just outside Perth and will be speaking in Leven tomorrow evening. Please Pray.
Wednesday 27th of April 2011 12:00:40 AM
I have had good reports of the interview on Radio Limavady.
Today has been wonderful. The weather has been perfect and the long drive over the mountains and through the glens has been a true joy.
I have passed through Glencoe and have parked for the night in the Bridge of Orchy area.
Tuesday 26th of April 2011 12:27:35 AM
It has been a trial,as I have tried and tried to upload a message to everyone.
I spent a couple of days in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. It was great to meet up with my friends from the past. Archie Darling sends His regards to all.Archie was converted in the bus about six years ago here on Mull.
Today I took the long winding narrow road to Iona. It was a really special time for me on the Island and a great treat because of it being Easter Day. I wanted to go into the ancient Abbey but it cost £5 50 to gain access so I refused to pay it and came away very dissappointed. I will not pay to enter God's House.
I leave Mull tomorrow for Glencoe and have a speaking engagement on wednesday in Levens.
Last night I was interviewed by telephone for a live broadcast on Radio Limavady by Norman Somerville. A true christian friend I have known for years.
Sunday 24th of April 2011 11:21:53 PM
After a three day trip to Barra I have now left the Outer Hebrides and have just arrived in Oban.
I leave here in the morning for the island of Mull to visit Tobermory and Iona for the easter holiday. I expect to leave there on sunday.
Please visit the prayer page if you can. My friend Brian has a grand daughter who urgently needs our prayers. Please leave him a message of support.
Thursday 21st of April 2011 02:19:24 AM
The sun is shining but it is still not too warm out here.
I crossed the islands of Lewis, Harris,North Uist and South Uist and now I have arrived on Eriskay.
I have met so many lovely people out here and the post office staff now have a large quantity of literature ti give to the visitors as they catch the ferry from Leverburgh, Harris.
I should sail for Barra tomorrow.
Please pray for Ivan of Monaghan who flew out to Roumania with christian friends this afternoon to do some work at a battered ladies home.
Ivan fit the windows in the motorhome and will fit the new fuel tank when I get back to Ireland in May.
