Your age does not matter to God and neither does your culture or position in society. God does not see what you see, whatever others impressions of you may be, God and has a totally different viewpoint.

All God can see when  you speak to him is your heart and the BLACKNESS of your Sin.

For ALL have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.   Romans 3 verse 23

They are All turned aside……………….              Psalm 14 verse 3

It does not matter what you may have done wrong or when you did it. One sin is too many in God’s eyes. He cannot look on sin. He even had to turn away from his own son “Jesus” when he was on the cross of Calvary.

Your friend “Jesus” carried your Sin to his place of execution and has already paid the price in His Heavenly Father’s sight.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.        

For he made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us…………….    2 Corinthians 5 verse 21.

You may have been a church member all you life ,christened, confirmed, served on the church committees, helped to support the church, been a good and helping person, you may have worked tirelessly for charity or done many good things in your life. (It will not get you into heaven)  Only the sacrifice of  “Jesus Christ” at Calvary opens heaven’s gates to you.

For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God:

Not of works,   lest any man should boast.       Ephesians2 verses 8-9

So what will get you into heaven and how do you find the way ?

Jesus said, I am The Way, The Truth and The Life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.

 John 14 verse 6

 

Yes, but what do I do ?

 

The Bible say’s,” Seek ye the Lord while He may be found. “  Isaiah 55 verse 6

It is so simple to change your life around, but you must really mean it as you make your commitment and give your life to Jesus.

Jesus said, You must be Born Again .      John 3 verse 7

With this, Jesus meant you must ask Him (Jesus) to FORGIVE you of All your sins and to give you a fresh start.

If you have a criminal  or prison record it will still be on file in the records of  the authorities because they do not have the powers to erase your past even though you may have paid the penalty for your crimes.

But “Jesus” has promised to forgive your sins and “Remember them No More”  

 Hebrews 8 verse12

What Do I Do????????

It is so simple,  Ask “ Jesus” to forgive you.

You can ask a Christian to help you to pray or you can ask “Jesus” whilst you are on your own to come into your heart and change you.

Just repeat these words of prayer or use your own words with this prayer as a guide.

Heavenly Father, I have not lived a life that has honoured you and I am sorry. I have sinned in many ways and I am sorry for not following your son “Jesus”.

“Jesus” I believe you died on the cross for me and you rose again from the dead, I want to know you in a more personal way. Please forgive me for all the sins I have committed and I ask you to come into my heart and take over the rest of my life. I want to serve you and I need the Holy Spirit to guide me in the way you want me to go.

Please Holy  Spirit I ask you to guide me and help me to use my life to Glorify my Heavenly Father .  Amen

Now you must begin to read your Bible each day   ( I recommend beginning with  the gospel of John or one of the other three gospels.)   the Bible is one of the important ways  of God talking to His followers. Prayer must play an important part of your everyday life and  you must also TELL someone you have become a Christian.
