Christian Greetings Brother CLIFFORD from beautiful warm & sunny Morecambe! Just when we can't go out far, the weather here has turned very spring-like and it's been wonderful to be able to sit out in the Garden and watch my two Grandchildren happily play.
I'm afraid I haven't been in touch with you for a very long time, in fact a few years! It's a long story! However CLIFFORD, I have never entirely stopped following your journeys and you have often been in thoughts and prayers.
Particularly at this difficult and isolating time you are certainly being supported in prayer and my thoughts are with you.
May God take good care of you, keep you safe, warm and fed. May you feel His close presence and may you not feel lonely, even though you're alone. In Jesus name I pray these things. for you CLIFFORD.

Sweden is slow as usual in reacting to danger but now things are beginning to speed up a little bit. All old folk homes are isolated with no-visitor policy. No gatherings of more than 500 people allowed, rule of doctor's certificate to stay home sick for more than 5 days has been removed. Several concerts and conferences have been cancelled and sports events are played without public, churches are recommended to not have Sunday services but if possible to air a sort of service without congregation present, etc. Now some people are beginning to hoard food and household supplies. Lavon and I have just recovered from a winter stomach flue. We were to have my church's annual meeting next weekend but I have recommened that we postpone it and I will not be traveling up due to the high risk of contamination on a crowded train (that is how I got the stomach flue, there was a sick person just two seats behind me for nealy 4 hours). We were to go visit my mother and father just outside of Stockholm this weekend but stayed home. With the WHO now stating that Europe is the world's epicenter of the Corona virus we all need to be very careful. Praying for you Br.Clifford, so glad to hear that you are not evangelizing for a while. Stay safe. God bless you and all others who read this. Keep praying and stay wise in your daily lives.

Dear Br.Clifford, you would probably have liked being here in the Sandviken area this winter- we had a little snow in October but none since then and only a few nights with temp below freezing and just a few degrees at that. One week in January we two day with morning temps at-6C now we have some rain two half days a month. The birds are back and some trees and bushes a showing signs of spring. In southern Sweden it was declared spring in the beginning of January. This is historic. Nobody has any memory of this warm a winter in their whole life, that is talking to the really old folk. Perhaps the cold will come next month, who knows? Only God knows why it is this way. I read about the earth's seasonal cycles and it could be that we are a warm cycle which comes every 10000 years. God bless you. Praying that you will very soon have warmer weather.
