Feeling shattered and worn out but a cabin cannot be found for me on board Norrona.
The distance from Rovaniemi to Egjsberg is 2241 Kilometres and I drove it in around 40 hours.
I will be so pleased to reach Torshavn for a shower and a sleep.

After a drive that is better committed to memory than done again I am back in Sandviken. I will leave here in a couple of hours for Gothenberg and the ferry to Denmark.
I left Roveneimi on wednesday night after a splendid meetin with my friends there and in 24 hours I drove over 1,000 kilometres in the wind and occassional rain to get here. I am still tired after a nights sleep.
I hope the wind dies down today as it is really hard holding the bus on these narrow roads.
Please pray that Oliver and his staff at JT Electric can sort out my electric problems. They are becoming a real nightmare as I am finding it difficult to even charge up my phones and computer.
Friday 05th of June 2009 08:04:53 AM
It is good that the Lindborg family find time to read my journal each evening. I love to hear from my young friends and to know that they are praying for me.
Everything is going wrong.
I had an alternator fitted in Sandviken and the electrician wired it incorrectly. Of course he burnt it out and a new one was purchased in Roveniemi and no one can get it to work. The Webesto night heater for the bus is fitted but no one seems to want to do the electrical connections. The only firm willing to do the work ( and the firm I trust most) is in the Faroe Islands.
I am now heading for the boat to try and get this vital work done before the cold weather arrives and the boat fare rises for the summer season.

I have just gained access to a computer at the Alcoholic Outreach centre I am speaking at this lunchtime.
I have really missed being able to gain access to your messages and they have done me good as I catch up with the news.

Correction to my previous message:- The bookings for the conference are 16-19th June at Larsmo.
Sunday 31st of May 2009 09:00:14 PM
The trip To Finland is proving to be very successful, but I cannot get an internet connection. Most of my time is spent on the Arctic Circle in the town of Rovaniemi where I am proving God is in Charge. Each day new meetings are coming for me.
On Friday morning I spoke at a youth college and 300 young people heard the message. I am told that it is the first time a speaker has had a standing ovation. During the youth outreach meeting in the evening many students came to thank me for what I had said in the morning. During the street meeting we were privileged that a group of Muslin teenagers came to "Break Dance" for us. All these boys attend a Christian youth club and 2 or 3 have made a decision for Jesus.
Yesterday I called to see Santa Claus and presented him with an English bible and a Finnish New Testament. This meeting was recorded on DVD and I hope to have it on the video page very soon.
This morning I preached at Kemijarvi Penticostal church and met many people I knew from last year.
This afternoon I had a telephone call to book me for another Christian Conference. This booking is for the 16 - 10th June in the village of Larsmo. This is as a result of the conference in Sweden 2 weeks ago.
It appears that God has not finished with me yet. Please keep praying. I depend upon YOU

I have driven the odd hundred miles to gain access to the computer in Sweden.
Diesel was very low and I have not got many euros to spend so have come here to put fuel in the tanks.
Already the popularity of the bus is evident and it is booked to do street youth work on friday evening. A school friday morning and I will be going to see Santa on wednesday afternoon.
Last night I spoke at the prayer meeting at Rovaniemi Pentecostal church and it was a truly blessed meeting.
Please leave messages on the visitor page and then when I log on I will not feel abandoned.

Clifford says that the last weekend has been just amazing. Following on from the miracle of the Kroner notes he spoke at the meeting with people from all over Scandinavia, with an interpreter. He is now in Finland, but cannot get a signal. He will get on the web when there are libraries so keep looking. He will be going down the border with Russia.

" All things work for Good, for those who Love the Lord"
Today I wondered if I was on the right track because no matter what I did I just could not feel settled inside my heart.
I woke at 06 00 and was driving by 07.00 and heading for Umeo. I arrived there at 11 00 and debated whether I should continue driving in Sweden or catch the ferry to Vaasa in Finland. Finance won and I continued driving.
At 14 00 I stopped and had a cuppa but the Lord seemed to tell me to continue driving. At 15 00 I had had enough and parked up for the day.
At 15 30 I set off again and stopped by a lake to do some fishing for my supper. Caught nothing and felt I should continue to the next big town.
No parking places available, keep on driving.
In the vicinity of Piteå I felt the urge to call it a day. I had driven over 400 miles and was feeling tired.
Stop at the next picnic area for the night came into my heart like a thunderbolt.
As I signalled to turn right into the picnic area I noticed it was beside a camping site. I did not have any money so did as I was told. Pulling into the picnic area a saw a sighn in the camping site. JESUS ån HERRE.
I went to see if anyone was about and was delighted to find it wa a christian conference beginning at LANOKAGÅRDEN church. They have made me really welcome and asked me to bring the bus onto the church carpark.
As I walked the 100 metres along the road to find out about the sign I saw something in the grass. It was a 100 kroner note and then I found another. Nearly £20. Going to get the bus I found another 100kroner and a driving licence and bank cards.
Of course we informed the police who told us that a lady visitor to Sweden in January had reported her handbag missing. She had put the bag on the car roof and driven away.
The lady is now in Malta so the police contacted her.
Everything had been replaced and she had no use for Swedish currency.
God has supplied once again.

It is good to know that people are noticing the bus and realising why I am on the road.
If you have not been on the Visitor Atrium today, please log on.
A request for prayer from "Team Klabbe" who saw me parked near Southport today.
Please add Klas Ingesson to your prayer list. More information on Visitor Atrium.
I am parked in an isolated and really lovely place tonight, surrounded by fir trees and by the side of a very large lake. About 150 kilometres south of Umea.
Thursday 21st of May 2009 08:42:02 PM
Last night I spoke at "The Good Foundation" Alcoholic recovery centre and we had a terrific time. Much of the service was taken up with prayer and it really felt awesome.
The generator was fitted into the luggage area and now I need an electrician to wire up the starter.
Tonight was a home cell group in Hofors which went very well.
I am parked in a lay-bye on the E4 heading north. I hope to get to Umea tomorrow and the Arctic Circle by saturday.
Keep watching this page because I am now living one day at a time.

My time in the town of Sandviken has now ended.
Last night I was honoured by the churches by a farewell service that nearly brought me to tears. If I could have understood what they were saying about me I do not think my emotions would have been kept under control.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who made my visit here a resounding success. The Priests, Pastors, Christians and the Children of the town, but also to the thousands of people who have been praying for me.
Tonight I speak at an Alcoholic Treatment centre in Hammerby and tomorrow at a home cell group in Hofors.
The people of Sandviken gave me a final gift before leaving the town. They bought me the generator I really need to help keep me in electricity during the winter. Now to find someone to install it and wire up the electrics to my bus heater.
Tuesday 19th of May 2009 08:33:10 AM
God is truly great and totally faithful.
This morning I was honoured to be invited to Hofors pentecostal church again. This morning my friend Bengt was the preacher and I was asked to sing.
The congregation was totally mixed and from the harmony of the Africans and the sincerity of the Swedes it was a recipe for GLORY.
This morning a young lady was baptised and I was told she was the sister I immersed two weeks ago.
I did not know it at the time but have now been informed that the whole family come from a Muslim culture.
It is no wonder that I have had occasion to feel slightly unwelcome.
The church are now in preparation to begin open air witness.PTL.
Did you notice that the site has had 21,000 visitors. It is truly incredible. Tak.
Sunday 17th of May 2009 03:28:12 PM
My time in Sandviken is rapidly drawing to an end and I will really miss some of the wonderful people I have met in the few months.
Because of the shooting incident and maybe because I am a little stubborn I have decided to stay in the area for an extra two days. My final appointment will be in Hofors on wednesday evening at a home prayer cell group.
We must treat those who are against us in the same way they try to treat us. When they tell us to go, it really means that we are causing problems in the enemy camp.
Victory is never achieved by retreating.
It has now been established that I shall drive directly to the Arctic Circle from here. It is only about a thousand Kilometres so I leave this area on thursday morning and will be in Santa Land by next saturday.
The plan is to drive the whole perimeter of Finland including the Russia - Finland - Lappland border in prayer.
This will be the second border trip and if the Lord tarries and permits I will do the drive seven times to Claim the territory for Jesus.
Thank you to all of you who have supported me during this stressful time by leaving messages on the Visitors Atrium. Without your support I don't think I could have continued. I need you all so much and many do not realise just how much it means to me to read your comments. God Bless You ALL.
Saturday 16th of May 2009 07:18:18 PM
When something happens that really makes you think about personal committment it brings true clarity of mind.
Over the last two days since the shooting I have had to search the motives for my work for the Lord Jesus and as to whether I really do love him enough to die for him.
The answer is a resounding " I Love You Lord "
The true friendship of the visitors to the visitors page has touched me in a way that is very hard to put into words.
All I can say is, Thanks for your Prayer and Care.
Today I am speaking the whole day at school with 7 lessons for pupils aged 13 to 15 years.
I will remain here as planned until tuesday when I once again head for the Arctic Circle.
Friday 15th of May 2009 07:05:34 AM
I must say that life here in Sweden is not boring.
I arrived back in Sandviken yesterday and am preparing for my last weekend.
It has been good here and I have made many friends amongst the local people.
Unfortunately the donations recieved from the churches has covered less than 20% of the bus running costs so I will have to leave.
This afternoon I was walking along the main road pathway heading for the shops when a car pulled alongside me with two men in it. The passenger let down his window and pointed a handgun at me and fired. "Thank God he missed"
Even though it could have been a pellet gun he could have done a lot of harm to me.
Please pray for my protection in these last few days.
It is possible that I will cut my stay down even further as this has given me quite a scare.
Wednesday 13th of May 2009 03:37:39 PM
Other than the numerous telephone calls I have received I have spoken to no one for over two days.
I am still parked by the lake and drivers can see the bus as they pass by.
I spent nearly all day fishing today but caught nothing. I am running out of worms (please do NOT send me any)
The break is doing me the world of good as I did not realise hoe exhausted I was.Much sleeping and general resting going on.
I saw a badger going passed last night and it is great watching the birds on the lake.
I may move tomorrow but have not yet decided.I am not required in Sandviken before thursday so I will make the most of this time.
It is really great that people are making entries on the Visitors Atrium. Why don't you leave a message and give everyone a big lift ( spelling is not important and niether is the language you choose to write in)
Saturday 09th of May 2009 11:26:09 PM
I am still parked by the lake twenty kilometres from Hallefors and enjoying the gret oeace I am experiencing.
It has given me the opportunity to relax and wash my clothes. Water is normally rationed in the bus as I never know when I can get my bottles filled up without a load of hassle filtering the debris from the streams and waterfalls. Today there is plenty of lake water and I can wash nearly everything with no trouble.
I had to ask The Web Master to remove a message from the visitors page this morning.
I found it offensive and the author did not have the grace to use his name. He called himself or herself (Truthseeker.)
I will probably move on later today but will continue with my time of resting for a few more days.
Another entry to the miracle page should be on the site soon and more pictures have been put on the Sweden Pictures page.
Friday 08th of May 2009 11:38:57 AM
Just a note to all of you who believe I am invincible ( I'm Not )
I have experienced great joy today as I have sat in the bus looking over a beautiful lake and surrounded my thousands of pine trees.
Today has been a day of rest and relaxation and I hope to stay in this area for another couple of days, just resting and reading.
I take note of the comments by Eric that I should take a break. My answer is, I will when you will.
Blessings to all and please pray that the bus shall be hidden so that I can catch up on my much needed sleep.
Thursday 07th of May 2009 08:27:20 PM
I am parked in a picnic area just beyond Vasteras and heading in the Orebro direction.
I am getting very tired of people stealing the accessories from the outside of the bus. The chrome ( plastic) Eagle I bought on the Russian border has been ripped off the bus today. I have never seen another one for sale anywhere since I bought it last year. It is no possible use to the thief as the adhesive I used has been left sticking to the bus and the eagle was most probably broken during the removal.
In the last year I have had four wheel trims stolen, one by one. Now I understand why churches have to lock their doors.
Once again the phone has been in constant use.
Daniel rand me two weeks ago and told me he desired to stop drinking. I prayed with him over the telephone and he Rededicated His Life to Jesus. He rang today and informed me that he is still sober and has now got a job as a carpenter.
A young man rang me from Northrn Ireland to tell me that he found Jesus three weeks ago.
Timo is a priest I met in Posio last September. He has moved parish to the town of Kuhmo on the Russian Finland border. I have been requested to sing at the International Music Festival there on July 14th.
This is not a christian festival so it is a real honour to be invited. I will stay there for around ten days or longer if required.
Monday 04th of May 2009 08:04:59 PM
I have now left Stockholm and heading towards Orebro for a few days break and out of town ministry.
This morning I spoke at St Peters Methodist Church in Stockholm and was very well recieved.. I am hearing the same comments wherever I go in this country. " It is good to get back to the basics, Gospel and Testimony " I must admit that it surprises me, but I can only write on this page the truthful comments I receive.
In the last two weeks I have written about the work and the true blessings I have recieved here in Sweden, Conversions, Baptisms, School Work and numerous other great happenings yet I get very little feedback from my wonderful readers. Is there anything else I can talk about that will get a response and make me feel that I really do have a following. Please write something and remind me that YOU are out there praying.
Sunday 03rd of May 2009 05:46:08 PM
The day of Christian Celebration went really well here in Stockholm with thousands attending to march and witness.
I spoke about following Jesus and not trying to walk in front of Him. If we do not wait upon the Lord then we miss the Opportunities He gives to each one of us to witness and often our words will fall on bad ground and not be received properly.
Three people helped me to give out my life story in Swedish and during the day around six thousand were distributed. I was totally shattered by the time I sat down in the evening.
Searching the area afterwards I only found one book on the ground but hundreds of pieces of literature given away by other organisations.
Please pray that the books will be read and passed on to others to read and become a moving witness for the Kingdom.
Sunday 03rd of May 2009 09:40:58 AM
Everyone said it could not be done. Everyone I spoke to said it was impossible. The organisers said that the bus could not enter the city of Stockholm because of the Christian Parade tomorrow. The only vehicles allowed are first aid and police.
Last night I was informed that the Police Commissioner in charge of the whole event had given permission for " The Jesus Bus " to be parked in the centre of the city within 500 metres of the main event.
Thousands of Christian will parade past the bus and even now the tourists are passing in uncountable numbers.
If you are coming to Stockholm for the Event look out for the bus on "Skeppsbron" and shout Halleluja as you pass by. In the words of the chorus,
"Our God is an AWESOME GOD"
Friday 01st of May 2009 04:40:29 PM
The last two daysin Hofors have been wonderfull.
Iwas greeted with the news that a young lady (Catherine) had given her life to Jesus after the youth meeting I spoke at last week
Yesterday was another day of street work followed by a praise and testimony meeting in the pentecostal church. At the close a young man gave his heart to Jesus.
This safternoon I was requested to baptise Catherine and her older brother Daniel in the lake at Hofors. It was a real privelidge to imerse such lovely people even though the water has only just lost it's ice covering and was just above freezing point.
Please pray that my final month here will bring even more Glory to the Lord.
Wednesday 29th of April 2009 06:01:55 PM
It was a great day in Hofors on Friday and on saturday a film day was held at the Roxy Cinema in Sandviven. Around 100 people came during the day to watch three different films.
The evening service in Jarbo was terrific and it was good to see new people coming to church because the congregation went door to door with leaflets advertising the event.
This morning I spoke to two classes at Sentra Skolan.
Leaving on the journey to Hofors later this afternoon for another day on the streets tomorrow followed by a service in the evening.
Monday 27th of April 2009 01:04:27 PM
Having a great day of street ministry in the town of Hofors. The sun is blazing down and I am beginning to get a real tan.
Quite a few visitors into the bus today and a team of around seven christians are wandering the streets giving out invitations to the meeting here next tuesday evening when I give my testimony.
This evening I speak to the young people at the Pentecostal church and tomorrow is an all day film event in Sandviken.
I am totally amazed at the amount of visitors to the web site but would love to see even more.
I am in negotiation with the printers for the Gospel of Luke in Swedish and John in Finnish. It all depends upon the availability of funds in Britain.
Can you please pray that money will be sent to "Caleb Initiative" 4 West Road. Bishops Stortford. Herts.
Friday 24th of April 2009 02:49:18 PM
The trip here is going extremely well and I am seeing quite a few people returning to hear me speak at the different venues.
Yesterday I spoke to a gathering of seven pentecostal churches and their pastors, it seemed to be the correct message and I had good feedback.
In the evening I was the speaker at the parents evening at Montessorri Skola (school) and my translator was a young lady of ten years old. The gathering of parents were very positive and listened to all I had to say about my life and the way I spoke to young peole. At the end I was given a booklet of the pictures that the 6 and 7 year olds had drawn of the bus.
Today and tomorrow are rest days for me. I have been suffering from cramp in my chest for a couple of says and feeling very tired. I am not too concerned as I am sure that the attack is not of the Lord and not the beginning of heart problems. Please pray that the Lord will enable me to continue without having to return to England.
I am instructed to bring greetings to all of you from the people of Sandviken Sweden. God Bless.
Happy seventh birthday Brian. I am sure the Lord is proud of all you are doing for him in Northern Ireland.
Wednesday 22nd of April 2009 04:08:45 PM
Yesterday was a great day culminating in a service for dry alcoholics and family and friends. The service lasted for nearly three hours and was a true blessing.
We found a leak on the exhaust system this morning which must account for my tiredness over the past few weeks. It is now repaired.
Tonight I am at Jarbo pentecostal church for a youth outreach.
It is good to see the visitors Antrium being used to get over the Easter message. Keep it up PLEASE.
Saturday 18th of April 2009 01:03:47 PM
At last I am able to catch up with my messages an the Visitors Forum.
It is always a great encouragement to me to see the messages from my dear friends both old and new.
My time here in Sandviken is proving a great blessing to me with many engagements over the last week. Sunday Afternoon was a great street meeting with many christians attending to thank Jesus for his great Victory over death. I spoke at an Alpha meeting on Wednesday evening and have been to many school classes. The age range has been from 6 to 19 so I have been truly challenged.
Please continue to pray for the work here in Sweden that the Lord will bring in many more engagements over the coming weeks.
I am informed that the computer will take another two weeks to fix so please continue to leave messages.
You are sometimes a real life line to me.
My life story in Swedish is going down very well
Friday 17th of April 2009 03:57:28 PM
Clifford says:- The fan in my computer has failed and the computer will have to go back to the makers. I will be without it for about three weeks. I will be able to access other computer when invited. The Lord is risen !
