It looks like I will be parked in the Dungannon area for Christmas.
At last I am seeing results and passing motorists are calling in for prayer.
Tomorrow I will join with friends at the Lifeboat church for the Christmas service.
I wish all who read this a truly Blessed Christmas Season.
Wednesday 25th of December 2013 12:38:46 AM

I had a great time in the South of Ireland and arrived back in the Dungannon area this afternoon.
The work is very slow at the moment but I must continue to await instructions.
Last week I received a present from one of my supporters. Chris Wright is an author and he sent me a number of books he has written.
Included was the life story of a Cornish preacher of the 19th century.
Billy Bray, In His Own Words. was a book I could not put down and I recommend it to anyone who loves Testimonies.
I believe it is available from Amazon.

I am in the South of Ireland for a couple of days.
Yesterday I met a couple of people I have not seen for a number of years. In the evening I went to the weekly prayer meeting at the Lifeboat church.
The speaker was very good and spoke of the changes he has seen in his life.
He is 101 years of age and a real inspiration to a packed room.
Friday 20th of December 2013 10:15:09 PM

All is going really well and I am meeting quite a few people as I tour around the North of Ireland.
Today I called at the printers and was delighted to find that the booklet I updated earlier this year is nearly out of stock. This means that nearly twenty thousand copies have been given out in a year. I am now praying in the finance to do a reprint in the new year.
Wednesday 18th of December 2013 10:44:28 PM

I have tried to write my report a number of times but finished up loosing internet contact.
My time is quite busy here in Northern Ireland.
I spent two days at the cattle mart and was pleased with the number of visitors to the Sanctuary.
On wednesday I was invited to a meeting of the Stauros group in Enniskillen and even though the speaking time was limited it was very powerfull.
Last night I joined the children at a youth club in Limavady and now head towards Dungannon for church tomorrow.
The newsletter has been very well received with requests from all over the world to use parts of the text on radio and for other reasons.
None of my writings are copyright and anyone is welcome to use them as long as the original meaning is kept.
Saturday 14th of December 2013 11:14:53 AM

I am now in Enniskillen for a couple of days.
My time in South and west Wales was great and I was very well received at the church of the Holy Spirit on Sunday.
I was stopped by the police on the way to the ferry port after the service. They were starting the Christmas Drink Driving campaign.
I scored zero but had the chance to witness to a police officer.
Tuesday 10th of December 2013 06:54:08 PM

I have driven through South Wales and have now parked on the high moors outside Cardigan. I speak at the church of The Holy Spirit tomorrow and sail for Wexgord during sunday night.
I hope to be in Northern Ireland by wednesday.
Saturday 07th of December 2013 11:35:13 PM

I was able to get to Ramsgate and went to see Jean.
I was pleased to find her much better but very confused. The information I was given was not quite correct but I am so pleased I went to visit a very dear friend.
The trip to France was called off due to lack of funds. It is always very difficult for me at this time of the year but starts to get better in the spring.
I am now in the Bristol area and today has been very busy with visitors to the motorhome and many phone calls.
I head for South Wales tomorrow.
Thursday 05th of December 2013 12:38:13 AM

Still heading south. I am parked up for the night on a service station on the M6 motorway.
I rang a dear friend in Ramsgate (Kent) today and found out she is housebound and not well at all.
Jean! was a true christian friend to me during the 1980's and even though I was drinking heavily she was always there for me. I feel it is only right that I somehow try to visit her and pray with her.
Jean is now over 90 years of age and can no longer get to church or go shopping.
Please pray that the Lord will give me the words to say to this soldier of Christ who has prayed for me every day since 1985.
Friday 29th of November 2013 11:18:00 PM

Thank God an auto mechanic has been found and the motor home is on the move again.
A cable had been put in the wrong place and now the van will start.
I leave Scotland tomorrow heading south. Thanks for your prayers.
Tuesday 26th of November 2013 07:24:34 PM

The service last night went really well and even though the number of people who came was small the presence of the Holy Spirit was felt by all of us. I was given new batteries for the motor home.We installed them on Saturday morning and somehow a cable was put in the wrong place. I am now stuck here until I can find an auto electrician to fix the electrics. Much prayer is needed as finance is very low and I need to get moving.
Monday 25th of November 2013 10:39:14 PM

I am now parked up just outside Leven in Scotland.
The temperature here is minus something even though the sun is shining. I hope to join a team on the streets on saturday and will be speaking at Blacketeyside Garden Centre on Sunday evening.

Friday 22nd of November 2013 11:10:46 AM

All going well and meeting new people to speak to.
Thank you Eric for leaving messages on the Visitors Page. I have noticed that the web site is getting record numbers visiting. Praise the Lord. I hope some of the visitors will remember me in prayer.
God Bless.
Saturday 16th of November 2013 08:09:54 PM

Enjoying life as I travel around meeting friends in North and South Ireland.
I have just received a phone call from Pastor Gavin Hunter of Westray in Orkney.
He rung to tell me that since I left the island a few weeks ago that prayers have been answered. His church organised an outreach and five people of all ages have made decisions to follow Jesus.
He is now getting ready for a service of baptism. P,T,L.

Tuesday 12th of November 2013 10:19:07 PM

Back in Northern Ireland and enjoying the slightly warmer weather.
Tonight I am in Dungannon and will be joining friends for a half night of prayer. I am just getting changed because it begins at 9pm.
I will be thinking of YOU as I pray for the readers of this page and those who support the work.
God Bless You.
Saturday 09th of November 2013 09:21:55 PM

I saw the doctor yesterday and got a clean bill of health.from him. My tablet prescription has been sorted out so now I should have few problems.
I leave for Northern Ireland tonight.
Friday 08th of November 2013 07:00:31 PM

On my way back to Lancashire.
I have an appointment with the doctor on thursday to sort out my tablet prescriptions.
A call has come in and I will be calling on someone who needs prayer in Northern Ireland over the weekend and then heading back to Scotland o keep my word and speak at Blacketyside on the 24th.
Tuesday 05th of November 2013 11:00:44 AM

Tonight I am parked beside Loch Lomond and it is very cold outside.
I had to leave the Highlands because of the sub zero temperatures. This morning I awoke to find the temperature was minus 5 and the mountains were covered in snow. Looking out of the window I found myself looking at a red deer stag which was feeding within a few feet of the van.
I may have to drive back to Lancashire to get some tablets. The assistants at the surgery keep sending the wrong prescriptions to me and I may have to make a visit to sort out the problem.
I have a speaking engagement at the end of the month near Edinburgh so would have to return within 2 weeks.
Monday 04th of November 2013 10:29:33 PM

Wet,Wet,Wet,may be the name of a music group, I think they may have come to Scotland to find their name.
Day by day it is pouring down and as I write I am soaked to the skin after crossing the car park.
I believe The Lord requires me to stay in this area but I will be pleased when He allows me to move on.
Please pray that the weather improves and finance begins to come in!!!

ps. I am still trusting the Lord will supply. "God Bless"
Thursday 31st of October 2013 11:09:13 AM

Thank God I missed most of the hurricane that battered the south of Britain.
My time on Skye was very rewarding and it was great to meet up with Archie Darling after not seeing him for a number of years.
I desired to go to Harris and Lewis but funds would not allow it.
I am parked at the Commando Memorial at the moment and will probably head for Fort William later.
It is still raining most of every day and this stops people pulling up to chat.
Funds low!!! Please Pray.
Tuesday 29th of October 2013 04:43:58 PM

Amazing Grace.What a terrific Saviour I serve.
The weather is very changable here and it gets quite cold at night but I have found a great way to get warm when darkness falls.
During the day I am collecting blackberries and at night I am making jam. As always I am praying for those who will get a free jar so my time is not wasted.
Each day I am getting visitors and so I believe my time on the Isle of Skye is not waste.
I have a good supply of 2014 calendars and will supply the churches as I find them.
I have been invited to speak at the 30th anniversary dinner of the Gaelic Society this weekend. This organisation covers the Outer and inner Hebrides and sounds like a great Christian breakthrough. "Please Pray"
Monday 21st of October 2013 10:30:33 PM

Feeling very fulfilled and very happy.
I am parked beside the road in a lay bye and just sitting waiting for the Lord to send who ever He desires. I have had three visitors today and it was good to talk about "Jesus" and pray for them.
I am heading towards the Isle of Skye and taking my time to get there.
Next years gospel calendars and my life story are going very well.
It was good to hear that Brian has arrived back in Northern Ireland after his outreach trip to Ethiopia. This is his second overseas trip, he went to China a couple of years ago.
I am delighted to reveal that he prayed for Salvation in a lay bye in one of my first buses. God is SO good to me.
Saturday 19th of October 2013 11:10:49 PM

I have now left the Orkney Islands and travelling the A9 towards Inverness.
My time on Orkney was great and I really enjoyed meeting up with my friends. On wednesday I was at the prayer meeting at Westray Baptist and it was good to meet up with Gavin who is patiently waiting for Claire to finish her exams in nursing.
I was the soloist at their wedding in Ireland a few months ago.
Because I could not get LPG gas on the Orkneys I was forced to leave. It has taken two days to find a stockist in the far north of Scotland.
Friday 18th of October 2013 10:59:30 PM

I am feeling far more positive about my time here on Westray.
I attended the combined churches service yesterday morning and the Gospel Hall for the evening service. I have been made really welcome by everyone I have met in the past few days.
I will be speaking at the prayer meeting in the Baptist Manse on wednesday an will head for Kirkwall on thursday.
I am having problems finding an LPG supplier on the mainland but will hopefully find a garage in Wick.
Monday 14th of October 2013 11:45:21 PM

I had a wonderful time on the Shetland Islands but left for the Orkney Islands on friday evening.
I did not have the time to fill up with LPG gas before I left and intended to fill my tanks in Kirkwall. It is not to be, I cannot get LPG gas on the islands at all so need to have an electric hookup wherever I go.
I made the decision to sail to Westray and meet up with my friends on this beautiful Island.
I put my dinner in the microwave at 6pm but it was after 10pm before my last visitor left.
I was wakened at 1 30am by youths blowing car horns and screeching tyres. I was not amused when one of the youngsters started banging on the van door at 2am and when I opened it I found a half drunk 17 year old.
He drove away with a flea in his ear but I spent a sleepless night and this morning feel very tired.
I will update soon.
Sunday 13th of October 2013 10:40:38 AM

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God to Thee. How Great thou art.
That is just how I feel at this moment.
I spoke at the Free Church in Cunningborough last night to a full house and really saw the Holy Spirit at work amongs't the congregation.I had to delay my sailing for a week to accept the appointment, but Thank God that I did.
Many of those present had known me for years but there were some new faces.
The response at the end of the meeting prompted me to stay overnight and open my home to visitors this morning.
It was non stop ministry from 10am till 1pm.
God is still in control.P T L.
Thursday 10th of October 2013 03:39:56 PM

Feeling very frustrated with the internet. I have written a newsletter but cannot access G mail properly.
I hope to get it sorted out before I leave on friday.
Still meeting people and enjoying my work once again. I will update as I can.
Bless You all.
Tuesday 08th of October 2013 10:54:53 AM

Feeling very much better and getting my appetite back at last.
I have visited many places during my time here and I am finding that the motorhome has been noticed by nearly all the population of the islands.
I visited Ebenezer Evangelical Church tonight and was made to feel very much at home.
I think everyone in the congregation remembered me and most had seen the motorhome parked somewhere on the mainland.
Heading for Sumburgh tomorrow.
Sunday 06th of October 2013 11:32:08 PM

Parked at Toft and waiting to go to Yell and Unst tomorrow.
I was at the Cunningsborough Church of Scotland last night and will be speaking there next wednesday.
The weather is lousy with high winds and cold rain.
Thursday 03rd of October 2013 09:58:24 PM

Last night went really well.
The evening meeting went very well and the Lord gave me the words to speak. The youth meeting later was a treasure to me with 12 lovely young people who listened to my testimony and seemed to soak up the words I spoke.
This afternoon I attended the local primary school harvest festival in the church hall.
The children put on a great programme and the hall was packed to the doors.
I have just got back from the weekly prayer meeting and feel very tired.
My mouth is full of ulcers and eating is not easy.
