News has just reached me that "Norrona" is leaving the Faroe Islands today. A day early.
This means a 24 hour stopover in Bergen. Praise the Lord that at last the work is on the move again.
The last six days in Faroe have been incredible, and the year has been a true blessing.

I spoke at the church in Vagar last night and really felt totally at home.
It was the first time in that small and really friendly place and I promise to return.
When I came to drive away this morning I lokked in the wing mirror and instead of seeing the mirroe I found a black bag of groceries hanging there. This is what I call practical Christianity at work. Thank you Benjamin for inviting me to such a lovely place.
Tuesday 30th of September 2008 06:24:41 PM
Since missing Norrona on thursday I do not seem to have had a spare minute to myself.
Friday evening speaking to the youth club. Daturday with roadsida ministry. Saturday evening with the youth from Skala and today will be just as busy. Thank God for changed schedules.
Sunday 28th of September 2008 02:10:13 PM
Exciting, serving the Lord isn't it?
I could not get on board Norrona today and will have to wait a week before I can leave. I wonder what plans the Lord has in store for me.
God NEVER makes mistakes and HE must have a very good reason for the delay.
I admit to being upset about not meetind Doctor Rob in Sweden, but we have ALL eternity to catch up with the news. Please keep on praying.
Thursday 25th of September 2008 07:00:52 PM
Ready to roll if there is space on board "Norrona" this afternoon.
Thanks to my prayer partners worldwide. The diesel tanks are full to capacity and hopefully I shall have enough to get to Finland. I shall keep you all updated as time goes by. Much practical help has been given to the work this year by Gordon and his Father, also many thanks to JB Electrics and Simonsen Garage for work done and practical help. Please remember these people in your prayers.

Up to my neck in last minute jobs before thursday.'
Prayer is required for my thursday sailing. I have been told that the ship is full and I will have to wait here another week before there is room for the bus. I have made arrangements in Sweden at the town of Gavle and would find it difficult to alter, I would also miss meeting my doctor who is bringing me medicine from Britain that is unavailable in Scandinavia. I ran out some weeks ago and the tablets here are not strong enough and they taste vile.
I write this from Klaxvik sitting in my bedroom overlooking the harbour. Break tests tomorrow. .I hope you all got the updated newsletter
Tuesday 23rd of September 2008 10:23:53 PM
I am on the island of Suderoy for the weekend and hope to meet up with a few friends as well as preaching and an open air.
I anticipated driving through Sweden and heading for Finland. "God" had other ideas, I will now spend time in Sweden meeting and and speaking to the churches there. I hope to meet a pastor friend in Uppsala and then move on the meet my doctor a week on tuesday and spend a few days around Gavle and speak in one of the churches before heading for Finland. I don't really know what is ahead. But it should be very intertesting.

Do YOU really believe in miracles.
As I pressed Submit to put in the last message I recieved a phone call summoning me to meet a good friend of the mission. He has just filled the new tank and it's two partners with a total of 500 litres of diesel.
Check the time of this message and the last one to see the time difference. By the way" He had not read the previous entry"
" Praise the LORD for His Provision ""

Tank fitted and I am now a very happy bunny. This gives me a total fuel capacity of over 1000 litres (225 Gallons) and if filled before I leave the Faroes it should get me well into Finland and save around £400 before more is required.
It was not an easy job fitting the tank bit my friend Bjorg did his usual good job for me.
It was good to hear from Huw Thomas again after a very long break.
I pray he is very happy in wedded bliss. I often wonder where he is living. Huw and his brother joined me for a weekend two years ago in Faroe.
Thursday 18th of September 2008 10:51:05 PM
I spoke too soon and the first of the early witer storms are battering the bus with high winds and very heavy rain.
I am getting ready for the trip into Lapland today. My friend Gordon has lent me his washing machine and I am having a real good time doing a load of washing and cleaning my room in the bus. I won't sleep tonight for the all pervading smell of cleanliness. I wish I could get the opportunity more often.
Tomorrow the diesel tank will be fitted to give me an extra 200 litres of capacity. The fuel here is cheaper than on the mainland so I must take advantage of the savings.
In Greenland the price is fixed for two more years at 40p or 3 Kroner.

The weather has improved and the rain gone for a while.
Yesterday in Fugliafjorder was really busy all day. Morning service, children all afternoon and a great open air in the evening. We used my equipment for the open air and I am sure that no one in the village missed hearing it.
Today I was in Klaxvik having the bus measured for a spare diesel tank for installation this week.
Thanks to all who have left me a message. You have really cheered me up to know that I have good friends out there. It can get very hard mentally if I do not hear from anyone for more than two days. Satan uses it to make me feel even more isolated. The ferry is booked from Frederikshaven to Gothenberg in two weeks time. The Lapland trip is really going ahead at last.
Monday 15th of September 2008 11:53:24 PM
The weather here is terrible with very heavy rain all day and every day.
The reception from my friends here has been extremely warm and has made me feel totally at home.
The next two weeks should be very busy before I sail for Denmark on the 25th.
It appears that I will not be in Faroe for christmas but if finance holds out and no problems with the bus I shall spend December in Lapland before returning to Britain in maybe January.
I pray I have not offended anyone out there. But I am really missing the comments on the visitor page. Please can someone let me know that I am not totally alone.

At last I am on my beloved Faroe Islands and basking in the cloud, Rain, Mist, Cold, Etc.
I left Iceland yesterday and was pleased to look back and see in my mind's eye the VICTORIES that have been won in that lovely land. It is unfortunate that one person can cause so much heartache for a fellow christian as I witnessed over the five weeks I stayed there. On the other hand I met some truly wonderful people who will live in my memories for ever. As I left I asked the Lord to Bless the land and Return to it The Years that the locust has eaten. ( In the end I could not wipe my feet and hurt so many wonderful people.)
I will stay here for a couple of weeks before sailing For Denmark and the long treck to Lapland ( weather permitting)
Thursday 11th of September 2008 07:44:52 PM
Hofn and Happy.
I am awaiting the people who will arrive shortly for the 4pm service.
I really like coming to this church as the people are so genuine and have taken me to their hearts in a fantastic way. It is this kind of town I shall miss when I leave Iceland and I must say that the problems I have experienced are definitely not the norm in this lovely country.
I do not know if I shall return here but I will certainly take away some truly wonderful memories.
Sunday 07th of September 2008 03:45:54 PM
I have just spent a couple of days at Skaftafell on the way to Hofn on sunday.
The scenery is really spectacular and as I walk beside the glacier the peace of God is truly inspiring. The bus is attracting much attention from the hundreds of visitors to this most popular spot on the way to Hofn.
I have begun making arrangements to leave next thursday for the Faroe Islands.
From there it will be Denmark, through Sweden and finally a few weeks in Finland and Lapland. Please do not hold me to that schedule as the weather plays a major part in the trip as does available finance.
It is not easy finding internet cafes here but lokking at the few comments on the Visitors Forum, it looks like many are reading but very few want to reply.
May God Bless you All.

I agree with Eric. The whole tour has been ups and downs this year. Thank God that we are ASSURED of the Victory.
A good weekend on the Westman Islands where everything went like a treat.
The children there had their first ever ride in a double decker and they were so excited that you could have heard a pin drop.
The beams on their faces told a million stories at the end of the fifteen minute ride and they listened intently to the message following the ride.
I am now on my second trip round the country.
Tuesday 02nd of September 2008 12:37:29 AM
no one turned up for last nights meeting,AGAIN. I was asked to travel nearly three hundred miles for a no show event and not even given one Kroner towards the cost of the diesel-.
I am finding that many christians here seems to think thar God will supply through supernatural means as long as it costs them nothing.
Diesel is nearly £2 a litre and if things don,t improve I will just abandon the trip.
Thanks to Caleb Initiative and my regular contributors I am still able to continue but will have to be very careful. I will be in Westmanna this weekend but today I am sheltering from gale forge winds and torrential rain in a tiny lay-bye.
Friday 29th of August 2008 04:29:58 PM
Back in Reyjkavik for a couple of days. I was asked to speak at a meeting last night but only two people turned up. The handball team from Iceland won silver in the olympics and returned home last night. How I wish people would be so excited about the imminent return of "JESUS".
We have arranged for the meeting to be held this evening instead.
I move on to Keflavik tomorrow and will meet up with old friends from previous trips for a chinwag.
I will not stay much longer in Iceland as the welcome has not been as warm as previous visits. I believe a lot has to do with the accident last year when I was not even driving the bus and too much gossip without any truth in it.
I make for Hofn next week and then Akuryri before departing on Norrona.
Thursday 28th of August 2008 07:27:36 PM
The weather has really turned bad with torrential rain here all day. I am on my way to Blondus for tonight but hope to stop for a few hours at Skagastrond to meet up with isolared christians there.
Yesterday I met up with three lovely christians from Siglufjordur who closed down the pentecostal church three years ago. "Praise The Lord" it apears that if they can get help restoring the old building they are willing to reopen the church. Please pray that christians in I celand will come forward to help.

A really busy day in Akureyri yesterday on the shopping mall car park. I will return there for another six or eight hours today.
An open air concert was held in the town center here last night, arranged by local churches. It was very noisy but really popular amongst the youth and I was invited to take the bus along. It was a great night and ministry was non stop from 8pp till nearly midnight.
A bus similar to mine is now being used in Iceland. I was told that the idea came from seeing the popularity of the bus I drive.
Both buses were at the event and I was delighted to see the commitment from the bus driver and his helpers.
I will be meeting up with him and his team in Reyjkavik on thursday to to help him with ideas that I have found usefull in bringing in more visitors.

I left Vopnafiordur yesterday morning and travelled via Porsholm, Hraunhafnartangi and virtually touched the Arctic Circle.
Today was spent at Godafoss and I am now in Akureyri for a few days. It looks possible that I will be in Reyjkavik on wednesday of next week but still need confirmation from the Lord.
Today I spoke to the people travelling by coaches on a day trip from a cruise liner. Around 200 people passed by and they all came from Britain.

Still in the same place and enjoying life to the FULL. The idea of prayer jam has took off anf I have been collecting berries by the bucket full. This evening the local pentecostal church will distribure a jar od jam and a copy of my testimony to all 185 houses in the town.
I have made jam until it is coming out of my ears.
Tuesday 19th of August 2008 04:32:01 PM
After the most dangerous and difficult time negotiating a gravel road down the side of a very high mountain with twists and turns that nightmares are made of. I have at last fulfilled a promise to my friends in Vopnafjiordur and brought the bus to their small village in the middle of the most incredible scenery I could imagine.
During the prayer meeting tonight I was shocked when someone read my testimony in Icelandic and revealed to me that at that moment 9 30 pm I gave my life to Jesus, twelve years ago to the day.
I look back on the most thrilling and exciting chapter of my whole life. If anyone ever asks, I would not change a moment of my life because it was through the hard times that I found the Grace to be content with everything I have now.
I AM the Richest person on EARTH.

I arrived in Iceland on monday and was surprised to find the bus waiting for me on tuesday afternoon.
My first town to stop at was Hofn and three days later I am still here and basking in the warmth of local christians. Today it was street work outside the local supermarket but mot many visitors called in.
I am making "Prayer Jam "at the moment in the evenings. I pray to fing the berries on the mountain. Ipray as I pick them. I pray as I sort and clean them. I pray as I make the Jam. I pray as I put it in the jars and I request that each person who recieves a free jar prays for the work and for Revival in Scandinavia and Iceland.
Why don't you make some and give it away. I am hoping to make around 100 pounds of jam this year and I am up to 30 pounds already.
Sunday 10th of August 2008 12:17:40 AM
I arrived in Iceland this evening with nowhere to stay and the knowledge that at this time of the year it would be difficult to find reasonable lodging.
I travelled on the plane with a family from Faroe and as they got into their car at the airport I went over to say goodbye.
They introduced me to their friend who had called to meet them and he asked if I was going into the city and did I require a lift.
He turned out to be the manager of the Faroese Seamans Hotel and arranged a room for me before we left the airport.
How BIG is OUR GOD. PTL.
Tuesday 05th of August 2008 01:08:08 AM
The bus has left for Iceland and I fly out this evening at 19 30 hours. I must thank all who have supported me in prayer during the last trying weeks. Each time I head for Iceland I seem to enter the pit of hell as satanic forces try to stop me getting there. Please continue in prayer as I once again attempt to witness to the lovely people of such a beautiful country and that the Lord gets ALL the Glory.
My personal thanks to Oliver, Carolina and family for putting me up for the last few days . But mostly to Johannes ( John) for giving up his bedroom to give me such comfort.
Monday 04th of August 2008 11:50:14 AM
The bus drove like dream to Torshavn this morning. I had never realised how much strength it took to change gear and steer the vehicle. I am sure I will soon be back into the swing of things when I take delivery of it in Iceland next week. I fly out on monday because there are no available flights until then.
Thursday 31st of July 2008 08:25:19 PM
Ready to roll.
The window is looking really smart and the bodywork is something the workers can be really proud of. The two mechanics worked until 11 30pm to get the work completed and they must be worn out.
Tomorrow I take the bus to Torshavn to get it ready for the trip to Iceland beginning on sunday.
I fly out on monday evening and hope the bus will be ready to drive by next wednesday.
Iceland be ready for the bus comes and is ready to work for the Kingdom. If the prayer warriors keep on praying,it should be a truly wonderful time.
Once again to all of you who have come behind me during this very lonely time. It was made hard because the messages were few and far between on the visitor page. I felt really isolated here. Please encourage me sometime by leaving a few short sentances on the Visitor Forum. I promise I will not get big headed.
Thursday 31st of July 2008 01:30:25 AM
The window is in and is now being left overnight for the glue to set. Work has now begun on the bodywork and praise God the task should be completed in time.
I have just read the message from Eric on the visitors page.
May God richly bless the people who have moved in to help financially during this terrible time.
I only pray that somehow I will be able to repay you all in service to the Lord.
Remember!!!!! We are a Team, and I could not operate without the gifts and prayers that help support this mission to Britain and Scandinavia.
Tuesday 29th of July 2008 06:40:23 PM
The window and other parts have now arrived and the work of installation has begun. I am told it will take around three days to complete the work so it is a very tight schedule to gat to Faroe Ship before thursday for the container ship to take the bus to Iceland.
I am so grateful to those who have helped financially to get me back on track but the work really requires regular contributors to keep it going.
I will be looking seriously at the state of affairs during my time in Britain when I eventually return.
My 63rd birthday was very quiet this year but I managed to get to church and an open air yesterday.
A friend of mine sailed on the maiden voyage with his new ship yesterday afternoon to Greenland. He has been used by God in that country for a few years now.
